Attention Blondes!!

For those times when you and your hairstylist just can't seem to make your schedules agree ( like me now. Grrrr). I noticed there aren't many resources for how to cover up or camouflage those (GASP) roots. Now keep this in mind I'm not saying you are going to look like you are fresh from the salon but it will however make you not look so... Well you know.

I used John Frieda Sheer Blonde go blonder! Controlled lightening spray and a comb to tease.

Spray on roots in 1 inch sections on the top half of your hair and blow dry. You can repeat as many times a you want but I only did it twice because its peroxide and I didn't want to murder my hair. This took it from a dark brown to medium brown which definitely made the roots much less noticeable.

Now its time to tease! When your roots are lifted it makes the dark-light less noticeable. It also helps when your part isn't completely straight

This is me before (yuck!)

And after! Like I said its not perfect but it's not the first thing you look at either. I also put some lightener on the front piece so you can see what the product would do to already blonde hair.

Keep in mind it is VERY important to moisturize your hair after using any kind of lightener.

Now... I'm going to get my butt to the salon.
